Topeka, Kansas- Saturday, July 9th, 2011 marks the 31st year for the Topeka Harley Davidson motorcycle ride to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts throughout North East Kansas will gather at Topeka Harley Davidson Dealership at 5pm. All motorcycle types and brands are welcome. This huge escorted “parade of bikes” will travel down Topeka Blvd. and through Downtown Topeka at 5:30PM.
The motorcycle parade will end at Summer Jam 2011 at 8th and Kansas Ave for an evening of fun and live music with country western acts, The Jared Daniels Band and Dustin Evans. The entire town is welcome to come and participate at Summer Jam 2011; its a free concert and street party. Fundraising for MDA will take place throughout the evening with an auction at 6:00PM as well as other opportunities to donate.

Topeka Harley Davidson will also be featured on the “MDA Labor Day Telethon”. The telethon airs locally on WIBW Sunday, September 4th from 6PM to Midnight!
MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) is a local and national health agency seeking treatments and cures for 43 neuromuscular diseases. Along with research, MDA also provides program services at no charge to their patients and families.
