Kansas Inaugural Ball
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - In just days Governor Mark Parkinson will hand the state over to new leadership. Governor-elect Sam Brownback takes on his new role Monday and the inaugural ball is underway Saturday night but with that the tragedy in Arizona is still very present.
Tthe theme of this Inaugural ball may have been, looking forward, but minds were still on the tragedy that took place in Arizona Saturday.
Even though the shootings in Arizona were on the forefront here.
What's to come for 2011 whether challenges or expectations kept peoples spirits high.
