TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) In an effort to educate the public on the new voting law passed in 2011, Secretary of State Kris Kobach will be holding a series of public meetings in May and June in 11 cities throughout Kansas.
Each meeting will present an overview of the new Secure And Fair Elections Act (S.A.F.E.).
Topics include photo identification, proof of us citizenship and voter education.
Questions from the public are encouraged and each meeting is scheduled to run 90 minutes long.
