The Topeka Police Department’s Citizens Academy Ambassadors and Schwan’s Foods are teaming for a unique fundraising event. On Friday, October 21, between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm, Schwan’s trucks will be in the Law Enforcement Center’s parking lot located at 320 S. Kansas Ave.
The public is invited to stop by and purchase quality products from a large variety of items on the trucks. Schwan’s will accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. With over 350 quality products available to choose from, there will certainly be something to fit every flavor profile, eating occasion, and nutritional need.
Schwan’s will donate a percentage of total sales from the event to the Ambassadors. All of the funds raised will be used to support the technology upgrades within the Department’s Training Unit classroom.
The Schwan’s fund-raising unit is encouraging online pre-ordering. Browse the online catalog and select the items you want to order. To pre-order online: go to Schwansfundraising.com and click on “Place an order online.” Enter the Campaign ID: 35795. You don’t have to pay for your order until you pick it up on sale day.
The Topeka Police Department’s Citizens Academy Ambassadors are graduates of the Citizens Police Academies, which are offered each year by the Topeka Police Department.
