MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A new exhibit at the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan is teaching families to make smart choices about their energy use.

The “Conservation Quest” exhibit is hands-on and interactive and provides information about energy conservation.

Visitors will learn about energy - what it is, where it comes from, how we use it and why it's so important to use it wisely.

Kids and their families will see how simple actions can make big differences for families, communities and the planet.

The exhibit open Saturday, June 8, 2013 and runs through September 8, 2013.
