Mobile Food Pantries Help Families In Need

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - People in need are getting help stocking the pantries this week.

Randal Food Ministries started things off Monday morning. They held their monthly Harvesters Mobile Food Pantry at Family of God Church in North Topeka. People lined up for canned goods and fresh produce.

Other distributions are planned for 1 pm Wednesday at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation building in Rossville; 10 am Friday at Alma United Methodist Church in Alma; and 1 pm Friday at the Auburn Community Center.

Community Action is a partner in the Rossville and Auburn distributions.

There are no income guidelines. Food is given on a first come, first served basis.
