MANHATTAN, Kan. –- Government website developer CivicPlus will officially celebrate the building of its new facility in downtown Manhattan with a groundbreaking ceremony on Jan. 23.
CivicPlus’ plans call for the construction of a five-story, $9 million mixed-use facility at the southwest corner of Fourth and Pierre Streets. The first floor will be office and retail space, while the company will occupy the remaining four floors. Construction is scheduled to be complete by June 2014.
The company employs 128 people out of its Manhattan headquarters, with goals of increasing that to more than 250 within 10 years.
CivicPlus founder and CEO Ward Morgan will join a group of dignitaries from Manhattan and the surrounding area to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new building, which was designed by Bowman, Bowman & Novick, Inc.
