MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A charitable organization is working closely with Manhattan businesses to host a fundraising event in Aggieville that will benefit the families of soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
On Friday, August, 31, 2012, "Party For a Purpose" will be held in the Aggieville district throughout the night. Food and drink specials will be offered at a number of Aggieville businesses along with raffles. All of the proceeds will go to Guide On whose mission is to support the families of fallen soldiers. The organization provides leadership training and camps to children who have lost their adult role models.
