EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Emporia Middle School Girl Scout Troop 34047 is helping get young believers in touch with the Claus family just in time for the holidays!
Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves have a special "Ho Ho Hotline" this year, and they'll use it to contact children to discuss their wish lists, accomplishments, best friends and more.
For $5, parents will fill out a sheet about their child/children, then the troop's adult Girl Scout volunteers will give the sheet(s) to the Claus family or their elf helpers so the little one(s) will receive a special call for some holiday shop talk with the jolly family.
Calls will be made between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on December 19th and 20th to anywhere in the United States.
Proceeds help Troop 34047 earn its way to Europe in 2015. Anyone with questions can contact Susan "Momma Scout" Faler at (620) 794-2026.
