Key Members of the Health Services Team

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Governor-elect Sam Brownback has announced the nominees he wants to lead the way on his health services team.

Brownback wants to appoint Ron Siedlecki Jr. as Secretary of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation services and Dr. Robert Moser Jr. as Secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Governor Elect Sam Brownback says his administration will work toward preserving families.

Siedlecki has more than 15 years of public and private sector leadership experience at the local state and federal levels.

He is currently the chief of staff for the Florida department of health.

Dr. Moser has practiced medicine for 22 years.

9 of which in private practice before joining the Greeley County Health services where he served as medical chief of staff.

Brownback says their administration's action priorities to protect kansas families will focus on improving family stability and increasing family security.

Both choices require confirmation by the Kansas senate when the Kansas legislature convenes this month.
