Gage Park Hosts Free Concert

TOPEKA, Kan. -- Dino O'Dell and Greg Fox will provide musical entertainment for the entire family at the Gage Park Amphitheater from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday (8/26). The event is a community outreach effort by Topeka's First United Methodist Church.

Admission is free and bench seats are available, but limited. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Kevin Dolan, who performs as "Dino O'Dell," has worked as a professional actor on stage and television. As a musician, his appearances include Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival, Kansas City's Spirit Fest and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. As an educator, he's taught music, drama language arts, and improvisation at schools, theaters, churches, and libraries. His songs include "Elephants Like Ballet" and "Worms - They Really Hit the Spot." He's currently promoting his latest CD, "Itty Bitty Monsters."

Greg Fox is well-known on the local music scene and is a singer/songwriter. He's performed at three of Topeka's Wheatstock concerts and has been a guest soloist several times at FUMC. Fox is also owner/chef of Topeka's Rowhouse Restaurant.
