TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- This Christmas day those that may be going through difficult times had a special place to go for their holiday meal.
This year the topeka rescue mission...as they have for many years wanted to give people a place to go and make this difficult time in their life a bit easier...and theres no better time to do it than Christmas.
Fun times were had by all at the Topeka Rescue Mission this Christmas day as they pulled off the 20th annual Christmas dinner.
Anumber of events kicked off the rescue missions holiday season...a successful toy drive..thousands of donations....and with more than 500 guests expected at dinner this is a christmas many are grateful for.
Volunteers of all ages came together to give hope to those in a time of need.
