Saturday pony rides at Gage Park may be a thing of the past.
After more than 40 years of horsing around with the kids... these ponies may be headed for the stables.
July 31st will be the last opportunity to take a ride on the ponies for free at Gage Park hosted by the Downtown Optimist Club.
As a result of budget cuts the city is unable to fund the annual cost of caring for the ponies which amounts to $20,000.
There are 3 more Saturdays left before the Pony rides stop for good.
