A Way to Remember the 1966 Tornado
Shawnee County Emergency Management used a big anniversary in weather history to sharpen their skills Tuesday.
It was a full blown re-enactment of the 1966 tornado.... with a 2010 twist.
Tuesday, the Shawnee County Emergency Management along with several other agencies held a simulated exercise to see how they would handle the events of an incident that size in Topeka.
The scenarios continue Wednesday with a review of the entire exercise.
