Many gathered at Gage Park Sunday afternoon for a "Welcome Home" memorial to honor military heroes of the past and warriors of the present.
As the KC-135 flew over an army full of veterans at the Gage Park Memorial, Retired Colonel Glenn Frazier prepared to share his riveting stories of surviving the Bataan Death March.
The event recognized all members from all forces and wars that served honorably and continue to serve; the Korean war, Gulf war, World wars, Vietnam war and the Afghanistan and Iraq war and all other conflicts.
You can hear more of Colonel Fraziers' stories in the riveting PBS documentary from Ken Burns on World War 2 "the war".
