Stop the Bullying

With bullying being an ongoing problem in schools....Topeka public schools are trying to prevent the teasing from becoming deadly.

Playgrounds, school buses, facebook wherever students are gathered bullies are present nothing new...but some schools are developing programs to make sure bullying does not happen.

Students and teachers here in the capital city are taking any kind of bullying very seriously.

The Link Crew at Topeka High school helps freshmen students transition to high school. The crew also wants to get the message out that bullying is not tolerated at Topeka High and if they are having troubles to tell a teacher or parent immediately.

The Link crew is focusing on increasing awareness of bullying and teaching freshmen that they can stop the bully in his or her tracks.

The Link crew has been going strong at Topeka High school for three years now. The program is also at Topeka West and Highland Park.
