Topeka women volunteered their time Saturday for a center that provides nothing less than hope.
The hope center is designed to provide housing and food for individuals that have no other place to go....and while the hope center is providing that special need...the soroptimist group is giving back to the community as well in their own way.
The group deciding to donate their time to the center by cleaning childrens toys so that the children at the center do not get sick.
The Soroptimist international board of directors voted to recognize the Soroptimist Saturday of service on the Saturday prior to International Womens Day which is always March 8th.
