Family and friends continue to hope for Culberth's return Topeka....his wife is asking for support here in the states.
Marta Culberth created a facebook page ......"Bring Drew Culberth Home" already has more than 850 members and many are sharing their stories of Drew...
He and nine other Americans are charged with kidnapping.. they were stopped trying to take 33 children to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.
Their new lawyer said he has proof the group had permission to take the children.
The U.S. missionaries have denied wrongdoing, saying they were only trying to help children left abandoned by the quake.
The facebook page has received an outpour of support and comments...
The lastest posting reads....wonderful friends,many of you have asked us what you can do to help bring drew home..it ends with a donation request that can be made to the haiti defense project call center through helping hands ministries that will help the family defray some of the expenses that have been incurred.....
The U.S. government has said it it is monitoring the case, but has made clear it does not want to interfere.
