Many gathered at the Ramada Inn Saturday to raise funds for
earthquake stricken Haiti.
The event.....One God....One Vision...Christians for Haiti .. not only brought Christians together but a community filled with hope for an earthquake shattered country.
Joanne Long, Director of Development for the American Red Cross, says "I was approached 10 days ago by Sean and Terry O'trimble to do a concert event for Haiti relief. Different groups from different churches coming in to speak. All to support the Red Cross' efforts with Haiti."
Through dance and song children also shared their support.
"I'm having a great time. This is really important, crucial that the world knows we are caring Americans. We are a caring country. The performances are a tribute to the things the Haitians are going through amidst troubling times. People are still upbeat and praising. And of course we must involve the children, "says Jason Jones, performance organizer.
All proceeds from the event go to the american red cross Haiti relief fund to help ship supplies.
