The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations continued throughout Topeka Friday....with "Living the Dream".

This one in particular with a message of stopping the violence. Not only was the message about encouraging diversity and finding ways to stop violence ....the event kicked off with young artists in the making.

20 young contest winners that participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. art, poetry and essay competition were presented with their awards before guest speaker Willie Jolley arrived on the stage.

Willie Jolley painted a path to success for the hundreds of kids about how they can do more...achieve more and be successful.

Jolley says he just wants to make the kids realize that the power of their dreams can indeed become reality and what a better time then on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday.
