TOPEKA -- SouthWind Gallery at 3074 SW 29th, kicks off the August First Friday Art Walk with its special 20th Anniversary exhibit showcasing work by some of the top artists in the country. The artists in Masters of the Midwest are not only big stars in the art world, but a number of them who are widely recognized for working almost exclusively with oversized canvases have created very large paintings for this show. Events at SouthWind Gallery include an Artist Reception during the Art Walk this Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
