Thanks for all the condolences on Facebook and Twitter! And a nod to Elmer, who noted I was wearing black today! I pointed out that I'm also wearing green, though - still a nod to my team!

Yes, I was disappointed - and frustrated - watching the Green Bay Packers fall to the New York Giants Sunday evening. As most of you know, that's the team I grew up watching. These days, I'm even more excited to be able to watch Riley County's own Jordy Nelson excel for the green and gold - blending my old home and my new!

It would have been great to see them defend as Super Bowl champions, but that's why they play the game! And we can always look forward to next year!
