Since we spend a good chunk of our lives sleeping, I find it an interesting topic. An article on Yahoo! Health today reinforces how important sleep is.
The column details some interesting tidbits about sleep. Don't get enough sleep? It increases your risk for heart attacks and negatively impacts performance on task. Staying awake for a long stretch also could spark hallucinations! Teens who seem to sleep all the time? Science supports that they do, in fact, need more sleep than adults! And if you want your face to stay wrinkle-free, sleep on your back instead of with your face smashed into the pillow!
