Ladies - do you tease your guy about being a wimp when it comes to pain? A new study seems to suggest they should be teasing us!
Yahoo! Healthy Living Sarah Weir posted today about the study results from the Journal of Pain. The researchers say their findings suggest women feel more intense pain than men in nearly every disease category. Their results seem to contradict a couple of earlier studies, one on ultra-distance runners that suggested women were tougher than men and another that found men tend to exaggerate pain more than women.
As with many things, the bottom line is that the jury is still out and more study is needed. Perhaps they're just trying to keep the peace in households around the world - no more arguing - neither husband nor wife should be calling the other "the weaker sex!"
