Hello everyone!

So what did you think of the new show Undercover Boss? I for one...was impressed. I started watching half way through and loved it. I thought it was great how the PRESIDENT of Waste Management took the time to care and join his employees in work that is not all that pleasant. Oh! and the end....how touching. Call me sappy but it was quite the moment when Mr. Prez introduced himself to those awesome employees that took him under their wing. They had no idea! So fun to watch.

What did you think?

Can't wait for next week. Although it may not be as touching. We'll see. Hooters main man will check in with the restaurants. Stay tuned.

IT IS ONE OF THE BEST SH0WS ON TV. IT MAKES ME CRY EVERY, I MEAN EVERYTIME I LOOK AT IT. MORE BOSSES NEED TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO GET UP AND WORK EVERYDAY AND ALL THE HARDSHIPS EMPLOYEES FACE DAILY. I LOVE THE SHOW.

Impressed, really? Fell for the fake so easily? How about this: take a poll and see how many people here know their garbage truck driver? Then find out how many of them write praise letters to them. Are you kidding me? Everything is staged to make the top management look good. Sob stories abound, too. Are you kidding me? No boring, normal, regular people work at these places, and if it takes the CEO to go undercover to learn about their companies, I really feel sorry for them. Staged and fake in every aspect.

I thought it was good the first time I saw it, but now every week is pretty much the same, except different company. There is always someone that has a child care problem, or a medical problem, or something like that, and the Corporate exec. always comes up with a way to help them. Too fake for me.

This show is completely staged. Last night at the aquarium the CEO and the worker were lit very brightly with upward theatrical lighting. The producers must think we are all ignorant!

The workers are told on each show, each week, that the guy is there as part of a documentary on doing ordinary jobs. Our question is how long before any worker at any company will figure out it's Undercover Boss?

Great show. Could surpass NCIS if network is serious with show..Sure manager of Hooters will have second thoughts about his 'DEER FEED', sure it did not come from policy of CEO. He will(should) be ashamed of this manager and let him join the others who have loss their jobs for far less. Many policies do not consider people only the stock holders. I am sure it would be difficult for Warren Buffett to go undercover.

I liked the show, and want to see more. I think the show used regular employees rather than pick the good looking people. If they keep it real and use CEO's that are genuinely interested in finding out how the other half lives, then it can be a great show. Having said that, CEO's are not able to fix all problems and are not obligated to try and make everything fair and even. In all business, someone has to be the boss and someone has to be the employee that does the dirty work for less money. Some people just dont want to accept that.

The show was very good could not stop talking about it. I believe this show will bring awareness first to the CEO's and coporate office but also to those in the field it lets them know you never know who you are training so be fair in how things are handled. The COO of Waste Management saw how his employess were making up their own policies about that time clock punch in, I know that was a real wake up call. I Loved That Show.

This show is a joke and must be fake. The scene where the employee clocks back in and returns to lunch whining about only getting 30 minutes for lunch! Honey, you are stealing time from the company!

stephanie: thanks for your comment. There are certainly mixed feeling about this show's authenticity.

Great, great show!! I loved it and am looking forward to more of them. This show seemed genuine and I hate it when you feel the whole thing was a set up. Hope it continues in the same vein as this first one. Yeah, Waste Management COO!

Stephanie: Thanks for your comment. I too look forward to the next episode!

Not everyone can be a COO, to state that he is less of a human than those who work under him is not cool. This man is a good man who has a job to do. Can you imagine the pressure he must feel day in and day out as he tries to make his company profitable (because that is his job, he has a boss) and make sure that everyone in his vaste company is taken care of. Just because he is at the top does not make him a bad person. Just because he had a difficult time doing some of the jobs doesn't mean he has never worked a hard labor job. Who knows what he did while he worked his way through school or how he made it to where he is. There is a lot of judgement in this country that if you are rich than you just don't get the middle class. But many rich where middle class at some point. I like the show a lot.

Stephanie: very good point Elizabeth. Thanks!

I liked the show. The bosses in all the major companies should come down and work along side their employees and see what goes on, any problems going on and see what could be done to change or improve the envorment.

stephanie: yep. gives them an inside look.

Stephina, I like this show Undercover Boss! It really shows that the big boss would not have company if it was not for the little people below did not do their jobs. I'm hope this show stay on for awhile. Beverly Bame

Stephanie: thansk for sharing Beverly. We'll see how long it stays. Lets watch attentively next week!!!! =) Dont know if I'll like the whole Hooters episode.

This is all spin just to try to improve the worlds terrible view of CEOs. Just as a leopard cannot change its spots, a CEO cannot quit focusing on short term stock result and their own resultant GREED. Greed is the primary root of the Great Depression of the 21st Century just as it was for the Great Depression of the 20th Century. It is why we keep having 'Jobless Recoveries'.

I absolutely loved the show, I wish every CEO/President would go undercover with their company it would be very helpful to the organization. Again, I loved the show, awesome, we will watch again next week. It was emotional and actually made my husband and I realize that we have much to be thankful with the jobs we have.

stephanie: Indeed, if the show is a fake its given many the sincere response they should have. Gratefulness. Thanks for your comment.

Ok, so late fall last year a tv crew showed up where I work to film a tv show. They were very secretive about the show. I can tell you this, our company hand picked the youngest and most attractive employees to be in this show, not the ones who had worked there the longest, or had been given rewards for excellent work. Undercover Boss is the show. Fake pretty much!

Stephanie: what??!!! Are you serious? What a bummer. Did you watch last night?
