There are so many things we could ask you.. and have on our blogs?  What is your wish for Christmas?  What would you LIKE for Christmas?  I thought I'd ask what your favorite Christmas songs are every year.  I love this time of the year, with Majic 107.7 and at least 2 Kansas City stations playing holiday songs all the time.

My favorites are "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives (do you think he knew they'd be playing this song umpteen years later?) and my other favorite is Andy Williams "Happy Holidays.."  (whoop, dedoo, and hickory dock.. and don't forget to hang out your sock!)

How about you.. I'll be listening for your favorite songs this weekend!   Ralph

I'm a traditionalist. For a very special reason I love "Silent Night". "O Holy Night", "Joy to the World", "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", "Away in the Manger", and "O Come All Ye Faithful" are favorites as well as many others. Hope you had a joyous Christmas

O Holy Night- because it is a Holy Night whtn the Christ Child was born. What disappoints me every year is the attention that gift buying receives. I hope that next year the attention is shifted to the reason we celebrate Christmas - the arrival of the our Blessed Hope - the Christ Child....

Gee Ralph, we DO have a few things in common. My favorite Holiday song: "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas," by Burl Ives. I have loved this recording since it's release in 1965, if I remember correctly.

It still brings a smile to our faces, huh, Harold?? rh
