2. Nebraska 5-3
3. Missouri 4-4
4. Kansas State 3-5
5. Colorado 3-5
6. Iowa State 1-7
Wow, what a difference a few games can make! Here is my prediction of what the Big 12 North standings will look like at the end of the year.
1. Kansas State 5-3
2. Kansas 4-4
3. Nebraska 4-4
4. Iowa State 3-5
5. Colorado 2-6
6. Missouri 2-6
This Big 12 North is Kansas States to lose, yes I said it, Bill Snyder is working a miracle in Manhattan. Because of it he is also my pick for Big 12 coach of the year. KSU by far has the easiest remaining schedule of all Big 12 North teams. The wildcats have 2 home games left against teams that look very beatable. Now I may have you laughing, but think about it. Kansas State may go in to both games, Kansas and Missouri, favored to win the ball game. It is very simple, Wildcats are Big 12 North champs if they can win two of their remaining four games.
Onto Kansas, the only team in the North that hasn’t had a QB controversy/fans questioning the coaches decision of who is starting at QB. KU should be running away with this race! This North crown was served on a silver platter to the Jayhawks and now find themselves fighting for scraps. This is what I believe KU will need to do in order to be crowned Big 12 North champs. Win 1 of these 2 road games, Texas Tech and Texas. Then turn around and beat KSU, Missouri, and Nebraska. I just don’t see that happening.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with me? I want to hear from you! Dont be shy
