Well ,as we head into the last full weekend of February we are all getting a little bit of the spring fever.  After all, Spring is not far off.  Next Sunday is March 1st and then the following Sunday morning (March 8th), Daylight Saving Time begins as we spring our clocks forward.  Of course the official start of spring is still 4 weeks away but we can almost smell it now.  The days are getting longer and warmer. Suddenly a day in the 50s feels "normal"  while a day in the low 40s seems "chilly" and a high in the 30s seems down right cold.  It won't be long now until we see that first 80 degree day and the start of baseball season.  The only thing with Daylight Saving Time starting in 2 weeks is it will be light much later and light when I go to bed.  I normally try to get to bed by 6:30 or 7:00.  It will still be light at that time and I don't know how difficult that will be.  It will certainly take some getting used too.

So how about you?  Are you ready for Spring?

Heck yes Drew-I can't wait for Spring-suffering from a bad case of cabin fever-lol-I am trying to hold my anxiety on these warmer days to go get my fishing pole and get it ready-I know this spring/summer will be spent many a day at the fishing hole.

I worked nights for years, and its very difficult to go to bed when the sun is still shinning, its great for all the outdoor folks, but daylight savings time can take a toll on those who have to go to bed early,I was always happy to see fall roll around, and Mr sun sinking just a tad bit earlier, but at the ame time,im ready to start going to the baseball games again, and its alays nice to see Lake Shawnee come alive with activity again, after a long winter.

Hey Drew!! YES! I am ready for spring to get here!! I want it to be track season!! lol. And I want to go on a walk after school, but I cant because of the cold weather so I like the 50-80 degree weather.

More than ready!! I like to walk and this colder winter kept me from doing it safely. I walk 4 blks round trip to get my mail daily and sometimes that was all I wanted to do!! Maybe you'll have to get a sleep mask to help keep the light out until you can get used to the lighter evening. There are curtains out there that are called room darkening type and those are great, too. Good luck.
