Hey There!
With soaring gas prices and my shrinking pocket book I have challenged myself to ride my bike to run errands. It has been a lot of fun because It's a great little workout plus I can get something done. I never thought about the fact that my bike was ... I guess vintage? It's pink and purple and it rides just fine so I never gave it a second thought. My friends did. Some of them were laughing because my bike isn't one of those new high-tech ones. I thought about it for awhile and then decided I don't care. My bike is awesome... for me.
There's history in that bike. I used to ride it to school and back every day with one of my best friends. When I wanted to go to a friends house I jumped on my bike and rode over so I didn't have to wait on my parents. So, it may be a little sun bleached from sitting outside while I was at school but "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Buying a new bike would defeat the economic advantages of riding my bike. So if you see me out on my Huffy don't make fun. It's a great bike and I love her! In the words of EI... So there.
