Remembering Christmas Gifts Of The Past!
We've recently seen lots and lots of Christmas gifts pass through the 13 Newsroom -- Jeremy had been collecting them to benefit kids at the Topeka Rescue Mission. There were bikes and toys, action figures and stuffed animals, board games and Barbies! Seeing it all made me want to be a kid again!
I remember getting my first bike for Christmas -- sans training wheels!! It was purple and had pom poms on the handles. I was so proud when I finally learned to ride it.
Thinking back on all my past Christmas holidays, my favorite gifts were crafty ones. I loved markers and crayons and those fancy scissors that can cut in different designs. I have always loved making things, and still do! My most recent favorite Christmas gift (two years ago, I think) was my trusty sewing machine!
