We are now on the road heading south out of Ottawa and the Storm Prediction Center issued a tornado watch from Morris County southeastward.  Be sure to check out the live camera throughout the day.

    Are me an my husband and our neighbor the only ones who saw the tornado south of Reading Ks today at around 7:00 pm. We followed it and out neighbor in his truck followed the funnel cloud up to Osage City.

    Since I am new to the midwest what exactly are the tell tale signs of a tornado at night? I have only heard stories of daytime tornados but have heard nothing about night time twisters.please advise.

    There was a nice funnel cloud southeast of Waverly at about 5:25. Jeremy has a small video clip that I emailed in.
