Hello everyone!!

How's Topeka?! Believe it or not I do miss it. :)

Update: my unit just held a deployment ceremony in Olathe, Kansas. I thought I would be a bit more emotional with the days counting down and my family there and all, but I put on my hard core army face and marched on. It went well. :) As a matter of fact 13's very own Josh Mabry and Naomi were there and put together a great story. If you missed it..make sure you check it out. :)

My blogs on this whole trip have been a bit scarce ( I know) and that will continue until I get further clearance from the Army. When I do get 100% clearance I will let you in on all the fun stuff. I promise.

I will say though...I am now safely in Indiana...from here..it's boots on the ground.

So..a big thanks to everyone who has sent me emails, posted comments and mailed me good luck momentos. I truly appreciate it. Thanks for keeping me in your prayers.

I was in the Reserves for the first Desert Storm and my husband was Active Duty so we were both gone at the same time. I was at home when he went to Somalia, Cuba, Panama so I know what your family and friends are going through. Communications has come a long way so keep us informed and God Bless you and your unit.

It's good to hear everything is going well and that you arrived safe in Indiana. I know reading from the last Blog you posted you still have alot of training to do in Indiana before going to Iraq. I know you'll do fine. Thanks for keeping us updated.
