Halloween is a holiday for trick or treating, candy eating.. and movie watching! What's the movie you'll be watching again this Sunday on Cable TV? Or renting out of the Red Box? Our family loves "Hocus Pocus" with Sarah Jessica Parker (pictured here), Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy.. that movie just gets better every year and is a ghost and goblin classic.
Fans of Halloween movies calling in Friday to KCUR Radio in Kansas City (on the campus of UMKC) mentioned to radio host Steve Kraske that "Fright Night" deserves to be in that category for a campy 1980s scary movie with Chris Sarandon. I'd like to check that one out this weekend if I get a chance! Keep adding to our list, let us all know your favorite Halloween flick and maybe we can find a new classic to watch every October.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE 13 NEWS TEAM!
