I just had to let my Kansas State Wildcat friends vent themselves on the basketball season that could have been.  Fresh off the fantastic finish of the Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA, Coach Frank Martin and the 'Cats have been plagued this year, dealing with issues like:

The losing streak knocking them out of the Top Ten

Suspensions, after acceptance of improper benefits by Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly

Pullen says he won't play in the NIT

Wally Judge leaves the team

Kelly's future with the team in doubt, Frank insists he's staying

The way Kansas State STAYS on the basketball map is outshining Kansas and its consistency through the years.  They need to build their own legacy and EXPECT to make their way through several rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
