Thursday was one of the most momentous days in local government and education circles. On April 7th in Topeka, we saw:
* Topeka's 1st City Manager relieved of his duties, and promised a $100,000 severance payout.
* USD 501's School Superintendent announce he's leaving for a job in Pennsylvania.
* Shawnee County's Treasurer go toe-to-toe with all 3 County Commissioners about his job performance, regarding long lines at the courthouse, and his efforts to expand the operations.
I will simply let you address a line or two, whether you would call it an "e-mail" or a "tweet" to any one or all three of these gentlemen, describing how you would assess their job performance, either positive or negative. I'll refrain, as a newscaster, from offering any opinions on my own, other than to say I would definitely thank Dr. Kevin Singer for his ability, his intelligence and his gracious nature during his nearly three years in Topeka. The rest I will leave to you! Ralph
