I have to give credit for this blog to my wife, since she was driving around and had left her cell phone at home. She likes to check in and let me know where she is, or what time she'll be home. But with no cell phone, she started checking some of the corner gas station or markets, seeing if there might be a pay phone where she could stop and call home.
Nope, no pay phone here.
Oh, there's one.. nope, it's a vacuum and air pressure hose.
Does anyone have pay phones anymore? With the advent of extreme personal cell phone use, more people are even disconnecting their home phone lines and saving money on their bills. Dumping pay phones is another modern day, high tech side effect. But who took them, and where did they go?
Let me know if you've seen any, or if you think it's high time they were gone for good! Ralph
