Stephanie Ramos and I love the show.. J.B. not so much. We're talking about "Undercover Boss," next to Survivor and the Amazing Race, the 3rd most talked about show that's shaking things up this February ratings period for CBS. If you're not familiar with the concept, a President and/or CEO of a corporation lets his beard grow out a little bit (they've all been guys so far..) puts on the store uniforms and works out there with a few of the common folks who are on his payroll. Endearing and enlightening, it shows us that the big shots aren't too big to pay attention to the little guys.
This Sunday night, the CEO of 7-11 will dress down as a regular employee, before he dresses down the managers who suck at their jobs and deserve to get chewed out at the corporate office. (The first two shows featured the CEOs of Waste Management, and Hooters.)
I think lots of people at Westar Energy know Bill Moore, because he's right upstairs in downtown Topeka. But if you work for a big corporation that stretches all over the nation, would you know your CEO if he walked in the front door? Would like to read more about your job and what you do, and if you think the "Undercover Boss" would be visiting you! Ralph
