Wednesday, February 17th.. one year since WIBW-TV switched off its old analog signal and starting transmitting in high def during our 6:00 newscast that night.
Do you remember our "Countdown to Digital?" I recapped the history of our TV station, as the clock counted down to our new clearer signal. We even asked for your reminscences of WIBW, especially from people born in 1953, as we were.
So one year later, we still get complaints on a daily basis that WIBW is fuzzy, you can't hear the audio sometimes, the lips don't match up with what people are saying. I thought I'd set aside some blog time on this 1st anniversary to let you have your 2010 chance of letting you know how your signal is.
Let us know the good stuff, too. I couldn't possibly watch a sports event the "old fuzzy" way, and the clarity of the picture has been spectacular. I love High Def, and wish everyone in Northeast Kansas could view the signal we get here. Is your viewing improving in Year 2? Thanks.. Ralph
