Sunday's Sermons about Tuesday's Quake

By Ralph Hipp

I don't think there was a congregation in Kansas that wasn't enlightened by what their pastor said about the earthquake last Tuesday night, and how it relates to what's in the scriptures.. and how it ties in to our modern day lives.

At our church, we've been going through a six-week series on the Book of Luke.  Sunday, our pastor, Adam Hamilton, talked about how Jesus used to eat meals not only with his disciples; but with the lowly, the poor and the downtrodden.  It was hard to get a mental picture of "What Would Jesus Do?" if He were in Haiti this week.  Kansas has some some wonderful clergy people, and if you could share what you heard in your church, I thought you might want to share your church's message with us.  What did your minister talk about Sunday?
