Well, back from vacation; after a snowbound week at home, I was very ready to come back to see my friends, to anchor the news for you.. and get back on the job for what we hope will be a terrific 2010. So what did I do on my vacation? I read almost all of Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol,' very interesting book.. (don't tell me how it ends yet!) and I watched A LOT of movies. More than I normally do.
I saw: It's Complicated (actually went to the movies for once); then back at home for Julie & Julia; Singin' in the Rain; A Man for All Seasons (Best Picture of 1966); half of "Lawrence of Arabia" (Best Picture of 1962) still have to see the rest of that one.. it's long! Also laughed at "The Hangover" and I'm sure there's one I've forgotten. Definitely a good time to catch on some films I wanted to see.
Let me know if you've been watching movies during the blizzard, too.. and I'll add them to my list.. we'll except "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" I heard that was awful. Looking forward to reading your list! Ralph
