Kansas City is down to its final two games at Arrowhead in Season One under Coach Todd Haley. The schedule reads: Buffalo and Terrell Owens this Sunday at 12:00, then Cleveland and Brady Quinn on the 20th. These are the games WIBW has been wringing its collective hands over. These are the two games we may not be able to carry.
You are, of course, familiar with the NFL's "blackout rules.." that if the game isn't reasonably sold out 72 hours before the kickoff at noon, KCTV and WIBW will not be able to carry it. CBS would decide which other Sunday game of more importance we would show here in Topeka. So you could either read the Chiefs score on the ticker, or move over to one of my favorite High-Def TV spots.. the NFL RedZone Channel, which switches around from game to game when a team gets into the red zone and is about to score. Which for the Chiefs, may not be all that often.
Just wanted to ask if you'd rather still watch the Chiefs-Bills game this Sunday, or if you might be more interested in watching some other game that CBS will pump into our viewing area. As we get closer to Thursday's blackout deadline, we'll see if the network has made a decision on our programming this Sunday afternoon. Ralph
