My father's been gone for 17 years now.. and now that I've been a father since just before he died of cancer, I can understand now some of the troubles and travails, and the pride and joys he experienced as a father to me and my brother and sisters. I'll be thinking of him this weekend, but mostly looking ahead to spend time with my kids. I hope they think I'm a good dad, and even thought I've sure been here at the station most of that time! I always remember what we do now as parents shapes who they'll be and how they'll live in this crazy world for the next 50 years..
As you're looking back to the past and ahead to the future on this Father's Day weekend, please let me know.. what you love the most about YOUR Dad. Happy Father's Day! RH
