It sure didn't turn out the way I thought.. my prediction on the District 7 Topeka Council race was that Bob Archer and Lisa Stubbs would wind up in a tie.. would both be sworn in Tuesday night.. and would sit side-by-side next to each other for four years representing their district.

As crazy as that sounds, we came within a vote of seeing that happen!  (I don't know what the city would have done in a real tie.)

After sitting on the sidelines for the past four years, Lisa Stubbs will stay on the bench for at least two more years (see my earlier blog..) after losing the race by ONE VOTE.

How do you come away from an experience like that?  Maybe some of our comments will help.  What would you like to say to Lisa Stubbs?  Good or bad.  We'll post them here except for any personal insults.  She won't get an insult from me.  I commend Stubbs dedication to Topeka, and hope she'll give it another shot in some capacity.  Stay tuned.   Ralph
