I think David Letterman's been in reruns this week.. considering he ran a Top Ten list of Holiday Carols. He also rolled right in to one of his funniest segments, "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches," or something like that. I think most people who watch Dave casually stop what they're doing to watch his assortment of Presidents, from the stern and somber Truman and Eisenhower, leading into the bumbling or stumbling George Bush. Dave has hit paydirt with this comedy routine ever since he started it.
So now that we have President Obama, is Dave going to keep doing it? Will he continue showing President Bush.. or have his staff switch over to watch Barack Obama's blunders? or just drop the bit altogether.
We may know for sure next week. But I'll tell you, if he drops "Presidential Speeches.." I sure will miss it. Ralph
