We were intrigued by Senate candidate Jim Slattery's applause raising appearance at T. Boone Pickens town hall meeting in Topeka Wednesday.  The only place it could be seen live was in our streaming coverage on Kansas Now, Channel 22.. but KN22 is seen around the state on Cox Cable. 

Did you think Slattery's appearance was inappropriately set up in advance with supporters surrounding him to applaud and rally support for him?? Or do you view his question to Pickens as a well-conceived opportunity to share the spotlight with an expert and raise awareness of his environmental platform?  Ready, set, comment!   RH
