Here's tonight's quick gas price check going into the last half of July... so we've got Lawrence at $3.89/ gallon.. Topeka's hangin' in there at $3.99.. with Overland Park breaking it open at $4.16 per gallon!  Tell me where you live, and what your gas prices are in your hometown.  They usually keep them about the same from one local gas station to the next.  Conserve your gas and drive safely!   RH

Why is the cheapest gas in Manhattan still $3.49 while it is $2.99 in Topeka? Why doesnt this make the news? We are getting ripped off over here, and no one does anything about it! What can I do? It is just wrong.

Manhattan seems to have the highest gas prices in Kansas at $3.55 per gallon. There is a 38 cent price difference between Topeka and Manhattan? Why?

You know Ralph, for the last several years we have been complaining about the rising gas prices. Each summer it goes up another dollar or more, then we seem to be happy because it drops 20 or 30% going into the school year. But...next year they will do the same thing and it will go up another $2 's and again we will be greatful it drops 20%. will they stop when 50% of the united states can't afford to go to work? it will be cheaper to go on welfare. pathetic
