My Brother Came to Visit!

My brother Bill and his family left Wednesday morning on a non-stop drive to Colorado by the 4th of July. Does he, his wife, or their 3 lovely daughters know how LONG A DRIVE THAT IS??? But I wasn't about to stop 'em. They're left Florida, heading through Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Nashville, then on to Paducah, Kentucky.. St. Louis, KC AND ME. Bill, Amber, Katherine, Kimberly and Kelly arrived on the doorstep of WIBW just in time for our big cookout show on 13 News at 4:00 Wednesday. You can see me.. interviewing my brother on our "13 News at 4" page!

Let me know who's coming to visit you this weekend. Bill and his family arrived in Colorado this morning, and will stay longer with our family on their return trip. I'll keep you posted on "my bro's" progress on the road. Ralph

I saw your show with Bill. Hope they have more time to visit when they come back through. I have out-of-state relatives; therefore I know what these short visits are like....it hurts that you can't spend more time with them!

Thanks, Lois.. you're absolutely right! Bill is coming back through Topeka with his family in a couple of days to spend more time! He loved being interviewed by his "bro" on the 4:00 news! RH

I wish some of my family could come this weekend. We might not even get to see fireworks on the 4th cause Council Grove wouldn't do a big show this year and we always shoot ours off on the 3rd.

All my grandchildren will be here for the 4th and it will be the first time all 5 of them. We are having pictures take Saturday of just them. What fun we are going to have.
