Let's face it, if a radio or television station had offered me $12 million to come work for them when I was 19, there would be no decision.  So the same's true for the NBA Draft's #2 pick, former Wildcat Michael Beasley.  Introduced Friday by Miami Heat Coach Pat Riley, Michael says this is all so unreal, and he's nervous, but waiting for his new life to start.  If you don't think that money is everything, that he could have helped lead Kansas State to a national championship of its own some day, and that a 19 year old is simply not ready for the rigors of this game, please answer on our blog this weekend.

Is Michael missing out on the college experience? 

Ask Paul Pierce and he'll tell you there is nothing like the feeling he's going through now.. a trophy, a ring, and a title for the Boston Celtics.  But Michael Beasley's college experience is over.. 25% of the way through.  If you ever see them again, ask Mario, Brandon and Darrell about the thrill of winning an NCAA Championship at KU.  There are just some things you can't find in the NBA.  RH
