The first two weeks of June are on occasion, disastrous for Kansas.  Topeka's marking the 42nd anniversary of our humdinger on June 8th, 1966.. I believe it was the same night Manhattan saw the last major tornado to cause such damage at K-State.  Emporia's June 8th, 1974 tornado is one those of you in Lyon County will never forget.

But what in the world is going on with this very active twister season of 2008?  Nearly every day?  Please make it stop!   And please share your thoughts with us on whether the almost daily occurrence of thunderstorms and tornadoes is more than we can stand.  Let me know about the damage in your hometown.   Thanks, and bless you and your town.   RH
