Kansas is catching Presidential fever Friday with visits from 3 Republicans.. GOP hopefuls who also hope to catch on with Kansas caucusers Saturday. While John McCain and Ron Paul are bypassing Topeka, Mike Huckabee is planning to wow the crowd at the Ramada at 3:30. Is he too late? Has John McCain already got the nomination wrapped up?
On Hannity and Colmes Thurday night, Bush advisor Karl Rove calculated that McCain only needs 40% of the remaining delegates to secure the nomination. Huckabee needs more than 80% of the remaining delegates. Mitt Romney got out Thursday, seeing he could not land his 60% share of the delegates up for grabs. Rove says the Republican race is over. Still, it'll be fun to have the race for the White House routed through Topeka, at least for a day. So there's the question again.. (would you like to see) (did you go over to see) Huckabee? RH
